Mcg - Bernero To Remake Hawaii Five-o
CRIMINAL MINDS producer ED BERNERO is set to revive cult 1970s show HAWAII FIVE-O.
The original show came off air in 1980 after a 12-year draw and starred Jack Lord as Detective Steve MCGarrett.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new show will revolve around MCGarrett's son Chris.
The raw version - dubbed Hawaii Five-O 2.0 - will be shot on location in Hawaii.
Bernero says, "We will prove to stay fresh as a great deal of the original as possible. I'm not trying to reinvent it."

Notorious B.I.G. star is announced
Actor Jamal Woolard will play Wallace in the film, with Angela Bassett playing Wallace's mother, Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke playing Sean Combs and Anthony Mackie playing Tupac Shakur.
Commenting on Woolard's casting, Voletta Wallace said: "Finding B.I.G. was a task in itself and I'm honoured that so many young men came out to audition for the role. However, it was Jamal's charming personality, warm spirit, wonderful sense of humour and beautiful smile that won my heart. He is a talented and charismatic actor and I am excited that he will bring Christopher's character to the big screen."

Jimmy Fallon - Fallon Confirmed New Late Night Host
Comedian JIMMY FALLON will replace comedian CONAN O BRIEN as the new host of U.S. TV talk show LATE NIGHT, network NBC confirmed on Monday (12May08).
Former Saturday Night Live star Fallon is set to make his debut next June (09) when O'Brien moves to an earlier time slot on NBC's schedules to replace The Tonight Show host Jay Leno.
Ben Silverman, co-chair of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, says of the new line-up, "Jimmy (Fallon) is more than just a likeable guy and a great comedian, he is genuinely interested in what people have to say."
